Limits and responsibility

Who is responsible for imported market data permissions?

First, the short version

You are. Before importing or running a connector, confirm that you may use and store the data for your purpose. Export and redistribution may have different terms. Zinuto supplies local tools, not a license from an exchange or data vendor. Bundled samples include their own rights records.

Who this is for

For users importing paid, internal, exchange, or third-party market data.

What to take away

  • Your data rights must cover use, storage, export, and any redistribution you choose to make.
  • Zinuto provides tools, not market data licenses.

How Zinuto helps

Import checks

Preview whether a file can become usable training material.

Local processing

Imported files stay local by default. If you include market data in a portable .otp-package, the exported package is unencrypted.

What to watch

  • Some providers restrict copying, storage, or redistribution.
  • Zinuto cannot override those terms.

Next step

  • Check the license before importing, exporting, or redistributing data.
  • Keep source and rights records when needed, and store any unencrypted portable package securely.
