Feature guide

Getting started

Set up local market data, choose a practice workflow, and know where Zinuto keeps the result before you begin.

Quick start

Complete your first workflow

A useful first session starts with data and ends with a saved record you can inspect again.

  1. 01

Open Local Data and confirm that at least one enabled sample pool contains a usable instrument.

  2. 02

Choose Free Replay for a random session or Directed Replay when you already know the instrument and starting point.

  3. 03

Check the timeframe and trading environment, start the session, then advance the chart and record simulated decisions.

  4. 04

Finish only when you want to create the settlement and archive; then open Review or Notes to inspect what happened.

01Choose the right place to beginReplay modes practise decisions bar by bar; Flash Decision focuses on direction, Crisis Survival on pressured position management, and backtests on repeatable rules.

How to do it

  1. 1

Use Free Replay when you want the app to choose a random valid instrument and historical segment.

  2. 2

Use Directed Replay when the market, instrument, and starting point are part of the question you want to study.

  3. 3

Use Flash Decision for directional judgement, Crisis Survival for position management under pressure, and Strategy Backtest for repeatable rules.

02Understand local workspaces and storageMarket data, practice records, backtests, indicators, and notes stay on this computer unless you explicitly export a transfer package.

How to do it

  1. 1

An account is not required for local features; signing in does not replace or upload the local workspace.

  2. 2

Different data sources and sample pools can coexist, but every training or backtest records the exact setup it used.

  3. 3

Use Data Transfer when moving computers or making a deliberate backup; copying an installer does not move your data.

03Check whether a sample pool is readyMost workspaces need an enabled sample pool with at least one valid instrument and enough historical bars for the chosen task.

How to do it

  1. 1

Open Local Data to see source status, instrument count, timeframe, available range, and storage use.

  2. 2

A disabled pool or a pool whose source was removed cannot start a new replay, challenge bank, or backtest.

  3. 3

If a range or instrument is locked, read the displayed reason before changing data, timeframe, or selection.

04Read the trading environment before startingThe environment controls settlement, short selling, financing, fees, minimum order units, and execution assumptions used by the simulation.

How to do it

  1. 1

Review the preset summary and open its details when a rule affects the action you plan to practise.

  2. 2

Current-close and next-open execution can produce different fills; keep the choice consistent when comparing sessions.

  3. 3

Changing capital, fees, financing, or short-selling permission changes the problem being studied, not just its presentation.

05Know what finishing a session doesFinishing a training session creates settlement results and an archive record; it is not the same as quietly saving the current screen.

How to do it

  1. 1

Continue advancing, trading, or undoing while you still want to change the simulated session.

  2. 2

Finish when the study window is complete and you are ready to inspect return, risk, trades, and decisions as a fixed record.

  3. 3

At the end of available data the session can terminate automatically; open its archive instead of trying to advance beyond the source range.
