Check the package
Official Store packages show their verified marketplace publisher. Direct macOS uses Developer ID and notarization. Direct Windows uses the stable company Authenticode certificate; verify the displayed SHA-256 before opening a direct download.
The local features are the same
Official and community editions have the same local features. Their name, sandbox, signature, official-service connection, and update path differ.
